Volunteer Opportunities at Title 1 Schools

Dorothy Keenan, founder and executive director of GrandInvolve.org, will educate us about Title 1 elementary schools in Fairfax County (serving high percentage of low-income families).  The multigenerational prrogram GrandInvolve facilitates opportunities to volunteer as weekly literacy or math mentors to students in grades K - 6th. The program will expanding to elementary schools near us in 2920, including Westlawn Elementary and Beech Tree Elementary plus others in Annandale.
